3 Races this Weekend

Three interesting races in different parts of Thailand are coming up this Sunday.

TMB ING ParkRun

In Bangkok, the TMB ING ParkRun 2013 is a 10.5k race routed through three public parks of Bangkok: Chatuchak Park, Wachirabenchatat Park (Rot-fai Park), and H.M. Queen Sirikit Park. The race start is at the main entrance of Chatuchak Park, opposite the TMB Bank headquarter on Phaholyothin Road. (Registration closed)

Mai Khao Turtle Fun Run & Mini Marathon

Phuket holds the Mai Khao Turtle Fun Run & Mini Marathon 2013, an event organised by Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation and JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa. Start and finish is at Pru Jeh San Lake on Mai Khao Beach, and the distances are 10.5 and 3.5 km.

River Kwai International Half Marathon

In Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi the River Kwai International Half Marathon is held for the 32nd time, which makes it the oldest race in Thailand. The course starts and finishes at River Kwai Village Resort and takes runners up a gradual climb to the u-turn. The downslope on the way back, helps most runners to negative splits. (Registration closed)
