Brief description

A shape run does not necessarily take the most scenic route through the city, but instead follows whichever path best traces the “shape,” or theme, of the run. Using a GPS watch reveals the shape at the end. We finish at Thammasat University, close to the Grand Palace, after following an easy-to-navigate but possibly slightly chaotic route through Thonburi and Samran Rat.

Start from BTS Saphan Taksin exit 1, at pavement level.

From BTS Saphan Taksin exit 1, cross the river and go through Chaloemprakiart Forest Park, turning right up Charoen Nakhon. The start of the shape run is at the corner of Charoen Nakhon and Lat Ya. The end is at Thammasat University but the main path of the run cannot be revealed until the day of the event so as not to spoil the surprise “shape.”
