March & Brooks Kick Off

March is almost here and there are of course some interesting running events in Thailand coming up. The Ocean to Ocean Relay is postponed, but March offers a 10-mile race, bikini beach run, interesting charity runs and a lot more.

This Sunday features some interesting races too. Perhaps the weekend’s most anticipated one is the Khao Yai Half Marathon, organized by Unique Running. This is a good opportunity to run through the nice scenery of Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat).

An other event I’d like to recommend is Brooks Kick Off Shoe Party held at Aspire in Bangkok on Sunday. Brooks will present their new shoe Transcend and there will be guest speakers, tutorials, gait analysis etc. Also, the Brooks Racing Team “Treadmill Battle” will be held, which I unfortunately miss out on as I’ll be in Taiwan running a marathon. Maybe it’s for the better as I never run on treadmills and probably would end up hurting myself when competing against my fellow teammates. For those of you who are in Bangkok on Sunday afternoon, be there! 4-8 PM.
