Races on the Hottest Day of the Year

According to this article, Sunday will in theory be Bangkok’s hottest day of the year. The forecasts say April will be this the warmest month of the year with temperatures up to 43º Celsius. Hot stuff!

There are a few races on offer tomorrow. Luckily, they start early in the morning when the temperatures are… well, way too hot already!

I plan to take part in the charity event Run for Hope which is held in Suan Rama 9 Park in Bangkok. Sunday’s other Bangkok run is the Siriraj Mini Marathon, starting at the Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital. Both are 10k-ish races.

Team Brooks are going a few marathons north to run the Singburi Super-Half Marathon. “Super-Half” means 25k and there is also a 12k distance available.
